January 2nd 2026 saw the traditional New Year Trek leaving Rowanlea on a crisp but beautiful morning with some 30 riders participating. As always the trek was not only to herald in the new year but also to raise fund for charity which this year is going to be the Brain Tumour Charity. SOme £300 has been raised so far but this figure is expected to be a bit higher after all the pledges have been received.
Thanks to all who attended and those who provided the soup and snacks for the riders once the trek was back safely and horses attended to.
